Set up your wall

Your name and colours, a league or comp from a template, and your problem list. You set it up yourself.

Open the wall admin and go to Set up. The guided setup takes you through four steps. You can change everything later.

1. Your wall

Type your wall’s name and pick your two colours. They fill the chip with your wall’s name on climbers’ phones and the TV leaderboard: your main colour behind the name, your accent colour along its edge. If the name looks hard to read, try a darker or lighter shade.

2. A league or comp

Pick a template, give it a name and the first date.

  • 5-round winter league, best 4 count: a round every 4 weeks, points per problem with a flash bonus, partners tick tops.
  • One-day comp: one round, points with a flash bonus and zones.
  • Finals night: one final of 4 problems, ranked by tops, then zones, then attempts. Staff sign off each top.

Rules, categories and dates live in the Overview tab of your league or comp afterwards. Change them any time: the leaderboard works itself out again.

3. Your problems

Paste your problem list, one problem per line: number, colour, points. For example:

12 blue 300problem 12, blue holds, 300 points
13 red 6a+ 400a grade can go in the middle
14 greenno points: 10, or the grade band’s points

A list copied from a spreadsheet works too. Lines with a mistake are marked with the error icon and say what is wrong, and nothing is saved until they are fixed. Or keep the starter set and edit it in the Problems tab.

For the next round of a league: Problems tab, pick the round, Copy last round’s problems, then change only what the setters changed. Problem numbers that already have results keep them.

4. Posters

QR and poster tab, Print the A4 poster, at 100% scale. Put one at each wall and one at reception.
